A new chapter in international cooperation unfolded as Asian International Trade Industrial Park (AITIP) and the Jordan Chamber of Commerce came together to advance green technology and sustainable development. The high-level delegation, led by Zhang Xianjin, Chairman of AITIP, and Dr. Mane, CEO of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Head of the EU Science and Technology Innovation Center, gathered in Amman, Jordan for a pivotal dialogue on the future of green energy, environmental sustainability, and cross-border collaboration.
Strengthening Ties for a Greener Future
In an era where sustainability is no longer a choice but a necessity, this strategic dialogue marked a turning point in fostering green technological exchange between China and Jordan. The meeting was attended by Chloe Tong, Head of the International Department at AITIP, Mr. Hani Alhaj, Head of the Jordan Regional Office, and key figures from Jordan’s business and innovation sectors, including Ms. Rewan, Office Head of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the prestigious "GFA Trophy" (Green Factory Award)—a global initiative by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce. This initiative honors companies and institutions that demonstrate outstanding contributions to environmental protection, sustainable development, and green production.
China’s Advanced Green Technology to Support Jordan’s Growth
During the discussions, Dr. Mane emphasized the Middle East's immense potential in renewable energy but acknowledged the need for advanced technology and expertise to bridge existing gaps. He called for stronger partnerships with China to leverage its cutting-edge innovations in clean energy and environmental management.
Chairman Zhang Xianjin echoed this sentiment, reaffirming AITIP's commitment to:
✅ Establishing a Green Technology Think Tank in Jordan – A dedicated research and innovation center focusing on green energy, sustainability, and eco-friendly industrial transformation.
✅ Launching an AITIP Jordan Regional Office – Strengthening business matchmaking and energy transition projects between Chinese and Jordanian enterprises.
✅ Enhancing Cross-Border Green Investment – Encouraging eco-friendly business models and clean technology partnerships to support Jordan’s economic transformation.
Building a Global Green Trade Network
The collaboration signifies more than just business expansion—it marks a shared commitment to global sustainability goals. The Jordan Regional Office will act as a gateway for Chinese enterprises to explore investment opportunities in green energy, environmental technology, and smart infrastructure.
